Kamalini Vocational Training Centre

In 2007, Protsahan launched the project of Kamalini Vocational Training Centre in the Shahpur Jat Village, Delhi.

Kamalini – the lotus being a symbol of the women who the project works with - encourages them to gain the skills and confidence that they need to better support themselves and their families. The cheerful and open atmosphere in the centre is very welcoming for the beneficiaries and volunteers who help in the training.

Vatsalya Study Centre

The overall objective of the of the activities and sessions held at the Vatsalya Study Centre is to equip and empower women from all kinds of backgrounds to face the daily challenges of life, including, professional, financial, social, family and personal. Such guidance will enable them to become better professionals, family members and citizens of the society.

Vatsalya focuses specially on the development of the youth, in line with the National Youth Policy of India. Through the gamut of activities, they are guided to become virtuous leaders and change makers in their respective environments, equipped with analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as guidance to develop strength of character to face the odds of life.

Taniya

Taniya is a student of cutting and tailoring, coming from a family of seven members. Her father is the sole breadwinner of the family. With the skills she’s acquiring in tailoring, Taniya plans to start a small business to support her family financially. Her goal is to contribute to the household income and help ease the financial burden on her father.

Kavita

Kavita, who comes from a family of four, has been passionate about sewing since childhood. Aspiring to become a fashion designer, she enrolled in our center to complete the MasterG course, a professional program that will help her achieve her dreams.

Nandini

Nandini, a dedicated student from Shahpur Jat, is pursuing a Basic IT course. She lives with her husband and 4 years old daughter. After completing the course, she aspires to secure a job, allowing her to provide a better life for her family and to enroll her daughter in a good school. Nandini is known for her punctuality, regular attendance, and eagerness to learn, making her a role model for others in her community.
